Bracciano is located 36 km northwest of Rome . The town is famous for its volcanic lake, the Lago di Bracciano and for a particularly well-preserved medieval castle. In a distance of of 16 km there are the thermal baths of Stigliano (wellness, mud baths, inhalation, massages, physiotherapy and beauty treatments).

The Mediterranean Sea is as well quite near (20 km). A riding ground is nearby. Rome can easily be reached by train in 45 min.

Transport from and to the airports can be arranged.

The town is served by an urban railway (Line FR3) which connects it with Rome (f.e. stations of Ostiense, Valle Aurelia and St. Peter) in about 45 minutes.

Close to Bracciano lie the two medieval towns of Anguillara Sabazia and Trevignano Romano.
